Open the Data page
The Data tab in Life by IDIA is where the journey starts. It lists the sources you can connect, the streams that are already active, and your USDC balance.
The Transactions tab shows the audit log: one consent record per connection, each with a hash you can copy.

Connect a data source
On the same Data page, tap a source under Available Data Sources and choose Connect Data. The recording shows Apple Health: you confirm with Face ID, which ties the consent record to you, iOS asks which Health data Life by IDIA may read, and once you allow it the source moves to Active Streams as Synced Recently.
Today you can connect Apple Health (iOS), Health Connect (Android), FordConnect, Nest and Strava. If we update a required version of the terms, everyone is asked again.

The Synapse Engine receives your data
The Synapse Engine marks your connection active and writes a consent record with an audit hash. Every record that arrives from that source is linked back to that consent.
Those records show up in The IDIA Hub as staged data, ready to be offered to buyers as consented data streams. Each stream in Life by IDIA shows how recently it synced, and you can disconnect a source at any time.

A buyer selects data
In The IDIA Hub, buyers ask Best Friend AI what data fits their need, or connect their own systems and AI agents to the data streams through API endpoints and MCP connections.
The price is always worked out on our server from the real records behind the request. Personal details that identify you are never sold. Raw data bundles are only released to buyers who pass our T-1-P Technical Vetting.

A buyer asks what data would help a shoe company. The assistant answers with totals across the available health records.

Synapse Credits are consumed
Buyers prepay Synapse Credits, by volume tranche or à la carte, paying in USDC. When a purchase goes through, the Synapse Engine finds the data owners from their consent records, checks every consent hash, deducts the Credits and writes a ledger entry.
The buyer gets an access token, and the sale is passed on to settlement.

The dual royalty is paid out
This is the moment a Verified Truth exists.
The sale is split: 30% goes to the data contributors, 10% to the IDIA DAO and 60% to IDIA Data Inc. The contributor share is divided among the people whose consented records were in the purchase.
Each contributor is paid in USDC, plus IDIA Tokens 1:1. Both arrive in your Life wallet on Base, each with its own receipt. If you have no wallet yet, the payout is saved as pending until you set one up.

Then it loops.
Connected sources keep syncing. Each new purchase that includes your consented records starts another settlement. If you disconnect a source, its data stops flowing in and is no longer offered to buyers.

30 days of Synapse Credit flows and recent settlements. Each sale reference (SYN-…) pays a pro-rata USDC yield and an equal 1:1 IDIA royalty yield.

What has to be true for a payout
- Your source is connected and has a consent record.
- A buyer completes a purchase that includes your records, and their Synapse Credits are used up.
- Settlement links you to that purchase through your consent hash.
- Your Life wallet is set up. If not, the payout waits as pending.
No purchase means no payout. We do not promise any fixed yield. The IDIA tTken's value can go up or down.

How each sale is split
- Data contributors30%
Split among the people whose consented records were in the purchase. Paid in USDC, plus an equal number of IDIA Tokens.
- IDIA DAO10%
Sent to the local DAO pool for the purchase's location, such as Louisville. With no location, it goes to the main DAO Safe.
- IDIA Data Inc.60%
Operating revenue.

Buyers can pay for credits with USDC. Every time credits are used, it is recorded in the Hub's credit ledger.
