Consent-based data infrastructure
Your data, used with your consent. A royalty every time it's bought.

You connect a data source in Life by IDIA. A buyer pays to use it in The IDIA Hub. You receive USDC plus IDIA Tokens, and every payout traces back to your consent record.
The use case, in one line
- 01Life by IDIA
Connect Apple Health, FordConnect, Nest or Strava
- 02Synapse Engine
A consent record and audit hash are stored with your data
- 03The IDIA Hub
A data buyer purchases data using Synapse Credits
- 04Settlement
30% of the sale is shared among contributors, in USDC plus IDIA
You are only paid when a buyer's purchase includes your consented records. There is no fixed or guaranteed yield.
When all four steps are done and recorded on Base, the result is a Verified Truth. What that means

The IDIA Hub
Use consented data streams through API endpoints, MCP connections and Best Friend AI, paid with Synapse credits. Every request is tied to its consent records.
Explore featuresThe economics
Where a buyer's money goes, and who it reaches.
Every purchase in The IDIA Hub is split the same way by the settlement code. Pick an amount to see the split.
Out of every $100 a purchase settles for
An illustration of the split, not a forecast. Contributors are paid only when a purchase includes their records, and IDIA's market price moves and is not guaranteed.
For the people the data describes
- In the usual data trade, the person the data describes is not paid. Here, 30% of every sale is set aside for them.
- 53% of U.S. side hustlers say they need that extra income for essentials (The Penny Hoarder, September 2026). A connected stream asks for no extra hours.
- Payouts arrive in your Life wallet in USDC, a stablecoin designed to hold $1, plus an equal number of IDIA.
- No fixed yield: what you receive depends on how often buyers' purchases include your records.
For data buyers
- Start from $2 at $0.75 a credit, or buy a volume tier down to $0.60.
- A Best Friend AI question is a flat 1 credit. Other requests are priced per use.
- Each use comes with a receipt naming the consent records behind it.
Who buys consented data
Built for buyers who need real-world data, with permission.
Each group below lines up with a data source that is live in Life by IDIA today. Buyers are not only paying for data points: they need to show where each record came from and what it was shared for.
AI agents and assistants
Any connected stream
Agents work better with real-world context about people, and that context has to come with permission. They cannot simply scrape private health or vehicle data.
Gartner predicts that through 2026, organizations will abandon 60% of AI projects that lack AI-ready data. (Gartner, February 2025)
In the Hub · MCP connections give an agent consented streams, with the same credit and consent checks as any other request.
Health, fitness and sports products
Apple Health · Health Connect · Strava
Product and research teams want activity and health signals from real people over time, from people who agreed to share them.
Healthcare and life sciences buying of data as a service is forecast to grow 15.62% a year to 2031. (Mordor Intelligence, September 2026)
In the Hub · In the Best Friend AI, a buyer may ask what data would help a shoe company and gets totals across the available health records.
Mobility and vehicles
FordConnect
Insurers, fleet operators and charging planners want real driving data, straight from the car's own connected service rather than extra tracking hardware.
Banking, financial services and insurance, which includes insurers, made up 21.47% of data-as-a-service revenue in 2025. (Mordor Intelligence, September 2026)
In the Hub · Vehicle streams can be queried through API endpoints and priced per request, like any other stream.
Home energy
Nest
Energy and smart-home teams want thermostat and home-climate patterns from homes that chose to share them.
The U.S. Department of Energy says 80–160 GW of virtual power plants, which pool home devices such as smart thermostats, could serve 10–20% of peak demand by 2030. (U.S. Department of Energy, January 2025)
In the Hub · Every query is written to Egress Logs with the consent records it drew on.
These are the kinds of buyers The IDIA Hub is built for, not a customer list. We will only name a customer once they agree to be named. Market figures are third-party research, not IDIA results.

Consent
The usual data trade
Often buried in broad terms of service, and data can be resold onward.
IDIA
You opt in one source at a time in Life by IDIA and confirm with Face ID. Each connection writes a consent record with an audit hash.
Who gets paid
The usual data trade
The person the data describes is usually not paid.
IDIA
30% of each sale is shared among the contributors whose records were used, in USDC plus an equal number of IDIA.
Community
The usual data trade
Nothing goes back to the place the data came from.
IDIA
10% goes to the local DAO pool for the purchase's location, such as Louisville, to fund charitable grants.
How buyers get data
The usual data trade
Often sold as bulk files under licences agreed up front.
IDIA
API endpoints, MCP connections for AI agents and Best Friend AI, paid per use with credits from $2.
Proof for buyers
The usual data trade
Buyers mostly rely on the seller's word that consent was given.
IDIA
Every use gets an Egress Log receipt listing its consent records, and sales mint Liability Receipt NFTs on Base (282 by October 21, 2026).
Staying in control
The usual data trade
It is hard to see who holds your data, or to stop it.
IDIA
See every active stream, how recently it synced, and disconnect any source at any time in the Data tab.
“The usual data trade” describes common industry practice in general, not any named company. Each IDIA point links to something you can verify.

The full product journey
Six steps, from connecting a source to receiving a royalty.
- 01Life by IDIA
Open the Data page
See your available sources, your active streams and your USDC balance in one place.
- 02Life by IDIA
Connect a data source
Pick a source, grant permission, and a consent record is created.
- 03Synapse Engine
The Synapse Engine receives your data
The connection goes active, a consent hash is stored and the data starts to sync.
- 04The IDIA Hub
A buyer selects data
Buyers reach consented, anonymous data streams through API endpoints, MCP connections or Best Friend AI.
- 05The IDIA Hub
Synapse Credits are consumed
The purchase uses up the buyer's prepaid credits and checks every consent record.
- 06Settlement
The dual royalty is paid out
Contributors receive USDC plus an equal number of IDIA Tokens, then the loop repeats.
What's real today
We keep what works today separate from what we're still building.
Connect data sources
Apple Health (iOS), Health Connect (Android), FordConnect, Nest and Strava.
Consent record per connection
Every connection writes a consent record with an audit hash. You can see it in the Transactions tab.
Stream status and disconnect
Each source shows how recently it synced (under 6 hours, 6 to 24 hours, or older) and can be disconnected at any time.
Data streams through API endpoints
Buyers create API keys on the Trading Desk and query consented data streams from their own systems. Prices are worked out on our server, never in the buyer's browser.
In-app Shop / IDIA Pay
Only shown to users once payments are ready for them.
Independent security assessment
Not done yet. We do not claim any third-party audit or certification. We will publish the scope and results when one is completed.
Quadratic voting on major proposals
The Operating Agreement (Art. 3.2) calls for it so large holders cannot dominate. We will mark it live once the vote tally uses it.
Conversion to IDIA DUNA
Happens when the DAO reaches 100 governance members, the minimum under Wyoming's DUNA law.
Evidence you can check
Check our claims yourself.
On-chain contracts
Token, DAO Safe, Louisville DAO pool and receipt NFT addresses on Base. You can look each one up on Basescan.
